Vacaville in November Means Lots of Fun

Oct 30, 2013

Located as a growing community on the California Interstate 80 corridor between the Bay Area and Sacramento, Vacaville serves as both a bedroom suburb to San Francisco commuters and Sacramento, as well as a farming region grown up into a mid-size town. As a result, the City has its own vibrant calendar of local events, and November is no exception. The Fall month includes:

  • The Fall Harvest Festival at the Nut Tree (October 31), a long standing restaurant and plaza next to I-80 that has been a draw for the surrounding area for decades.
  • The Halloween Stroll (October 31) down Vacaville main street which allows kids and families to enjoy showing off their costumes and getting treats from merchants.
  • The Holly Days Craft and Gift Fair (November 2) at the 300 block of historic downtown Vacaville brings out lots of crafters and food makers.
  • The Vacaville High Robotics Team Pasta Feed (November 9) helps fund-raise for the team to compete later on at regional championships. It's also a good excuse to eat spaghetti.

These events and more launch the fall and winter seasons for Vacaville, which will bring more events for friends and family. Gateway Professional Insurance Services wants everyone to enjoy the holidays to come and is there for anyone who has insurance needs in the Vacaville area.
